Fritz Wolff

Horst Walthers Shahnameh(شاهنامِه)-dictionary

Strongly encouraged by Prof. Khaleghi-Motlagh I created this inverted glossary of Fritz Wolff in 1975.

Fritz Wolff (1880-1943) was a German Shanahmeh expert with Jewish roots. His opus inverted into a German to Persian sorting[1] was meant to serve as a nucleus for a German to Persian dictionary.

Hereby I start to publish it, with some 25 years delay. It is a raw version with 21,937 entries I will correct then - chapter by chapter - starting today (summer 2003). In case you find mistakes too, please send them to me using mail@Horst-Walther.de
